Our biggest issue, the spring 2008 is loaded with many articles and projects. Everything Babies is a section dedicated to home birth stories and they were just lovely! We added projects such as diaper making, doll making with the dolly dress pattern, crocheting a baby blanket, and baby scrapbooking. Boys will enjoy our pushcart project for father’s and sons! Although the girls loved it when finished, this project is definitely for dads to take on with the boys. This issue contained a lovely “Anne of Green Gables Tea”, Romantic Era hair for little ladies, Growing Your Own Food, Bagels, sourdough bread and much more in this one. approx. 80 pgs.
Flowers of Virtue, Stitching Old Fashioned Flowers, Summer Rag Quilting, Little Ladies Victorian Tea, Make a Hope Chest (Father project), Whole Grain Flat Breads, Ice Cream Cones and Pasta! One of our favorite issues! 50pgs.
Another fun holiday issue! Thanksgiving and Christmas are our favorite times of the year when it comes to projects. Quilt An Advent Calendar, Rag Rugs, Making Candy Canes, and A Little Women Tea. The School Room section contains a Mini Unit Study on Thanksgiving with projects by Amy Pak, Timelines by Amy Pak, Classical Music, Diagramming, A Harvest Tea with projects, Roasting a Pumpkin for Stew, Granola, Wassail and more! Moms, this is the issue with the lovely kitchen pantry my husband built for me. You will love it!
